Independence Day Celebration – 15 August 2019 -: The celebration of Independence Day is an annual observance on 15 August. It is a great significance for the people of India as because this is the day when India got freedom for a long salivary by the British rule. The Independence Day has been declared as a national and Gazette holiday for the people across the country as this country has independently commemorated the independence from the British Empire on 15 August 1947. However, it was not so easy for the country to seek independence from the English Country as a lot of struggles and hard work by the freedom fighter made it true. Those freedom fighters gave their life for attaining the complete independence without thinking about their comfort. They planned and executed their plan by taking involving themselves in various movements. Later on, after the independence, Pakistanwas divided into a separate country and had been accompanied by several huge riots. Those riots result in mass casualties and the people were dislocated from their homes (more than 15 million). As this is a national holiday so the governmental, as well as non-governmental offices, post offices, banks etc, are closed. The thing which is unaffected is the public transport system. This is a kind of festival (national festival) celebrated in all schools and other educational institutes. With very proud and enthusiasm, the Independence Day is celebrated in the Capital of India in which the Prime Minister of the Country hoists the National Flag.

On the day Tuesday, the Independence Day will be celebrated all over the country and this year India will be celebrating its 72st Independence Day paying a tribute to the freedom fighters who contributed and fought for India.

The first Independence Day was celebrated on 15th August 1947. The Independence Day is celebrated with great enthusiasm and with great chaos all over the country. On the evening of the day before the Independence Day, the President of India gives a speech to “Address the Nation”. The Prime Minister of the country hoists the National Flag at Red Fort on this day and national song “Jana Gana Mana” is sung and twenty-one gun shots are fired in order to salute the national flag on this solemn occasion.

What was special on 72nd Independence Day of 15 August 2019?

According to the reports of Media, The Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi launched a program as “72 Saal Azadi – Zara Yaad Karo Kurbani” also known as “Azadi72” – Means recalling the sacrifice on the 72th year of Independence. The main motto and aim of the campaign were too aware the country of India to remember the sacrifices of great freedom fighters during the struggle for freedom (Sampurna Swaraj).
There was a plan for a week long “Tiringa Yatra” to perform in order to motivate the people regarding the patriotism and nationalism which took place from the border of Arunachal Pradesh to the border of Pakistan (in Rajasthan, Jammu, and Kashmir, Punjab)
